Ranks checked:

The Prestige window has a Current column and a Next column with four rows: your rank, your coins, a green clover (luck) and a coin (gold). The boosts are totals, not per-rank amounts: before the first prestige it showed +5%/+5% as current and +10%/+10% for Bronze 1; at Bronze 2 it showed +15%/+15% and +20%/+20% for Bronze 3. The Bronze 2 level and the name of the rank before Silver 1 did not appear on screen, so they are marked in the table. The bottom of the window reads LOCKED until you reach the level.

How to prestige

  1. Level up by killing enemies. XP Potions (x2 XP for 3 minutes) and the XP Bonus nodes on the upgrade tree speed this up.
  2. Before you prestige, spend your coins on upgrades; they would be lost anyway.
  3. Open Prestige (crown button on the left side of the screen) and confirm once the lock is gone.
  4. You start again in Wisteria with the boost, and the game shows "Prestiged! You've ranked up to <rank> - back to Wisteria with a permanent gold/luck boost."

The zones cost the same after a prestige (Fire City was 40 again in Superlex Plays' run), but your extra gold makes the climb to Death Castle faster each time.

Prestige FAQ

What level do I need to prestige in Defeat Anime RNG?

Level 15 for Bronze 1. The Prestige window then asked for level 25 for Bronze 3 and level 35 for Silver 1, so the requirement climbs by about 5 levels per rank. The bar under the rank badge counts your levels (for example 2 / 15 Levels).

What do I lose when I prestige?

Your coins and zones. The rank-up message says you go "back to Wisteria with a permanent gold/luck boost", and in Superlex Plays’ video the coin counter reads 0 right after. His units were still in the team bar right after the reset.

Is prestige worth it?

Yes, and early. Every rank adds 5% luck and 5% gold for the rest of the game, and ItzVexo’s guide says to prestige as much as you can. Spend your coins on upgrades first, since they go to zero anyway; Berlian Kecil does exactly that before his first prestige.
